  • Miss Jessie's curly pudding

This is the best product ever. I've been natural for 3 years. I kept my hair in braids while transitioning and used the Dominican blow out when it grew long. I tried several other products on the market prior to using Miss Jessie. It was love at first use!!!!!! Finally a product that understands my hair!! I now wear my hair in 2 strand twist outs and moisturize with baby buttercreme. It is expensive but I'm worth it!!!!!!!!!!! More...

  • Need some Guidance

Miss Jessie's products were recommended to me when I decided to remove my braids. I bought a 2oz sample of the curly pudding which was suggested by a local stylist. I tried it but I did not know what to expect and thought I did it wrong so I went to the stylist and let her do it. I still did not like the outcome. It just looked like an afro on me. I don't know what type of hair I have. Went and got the curly buttercream and did a dry twist on it. It does'nt help that today is a wet day. It looks like a frizzy fro with some waves. I think I want to try the curly... More...

  • Curly Meringue

The Curly Meringue product is a fraud. I have 9.5 inch medium density natural 3b/3C hair (S pattern/Spiral at ends). The product doesn’t define my curls nor eliminate or minimize any frizz or puffiness in my wet hair. The curly meringue feels like crap going on the top of my hair without penetrating my wet hair and the smell is very loud and lemony. More...

The product doesn’t define my curls nor eliminate or minimize any frizz or puffiness in my wet hair. The curly meringue feels like crap going on the top of my hair without penetrating my wet hair. I will not be buying this product again and will definitely warn my friends, family, and co-workers not to purchase Miss Jessie’s products. The $3.00 Eco Style Gel defines my curls much better than Miss Jessie’s Curly Meringue product. More...

  • Avoid the Miss Jessie's Products

THOUGHTS ON THE “MISS JESSIE’S” PRODUCTS: 1)The “MISS JESSIE’S” products USE MINERAL OIL & PETROLATUM (both of which damage both hair & skin) AS two of the KEY INGREDIENTS 2) Titi & Miko – THE OWNER’S of the “Miss Jessie’s” product line (AND most of THE CLIENTS they choose to photograph) -- achieve their hair-styles because they USE what they call ”Silkener”' (which is simply a mild relaxer / texturizer & made of CHEMICALS). 3) The same results can be achieved for a fraction... • Don't be Expecting a MIRACLE ladies!!!

Ok...so if you are a moreso KINKY than CURLY like me, ladies don't get your hopes up..this product is not gonna give you the miracle (for lack of better words--forgive me) "good hair" you are looking for. This product is definitely NOT made for kinky hair and no matter how good those girls look in the pics believe me most of them have some curly texture to their hair that helps them achieve that look. My hair is kinky and kinky only so it was not for me. It will only make your hair matted, sticky, dry and brittle. So be like me--embrace your kinky natural and know that it is... More...

  • Miss Jessie's customer service

I mistakenly purchased the wrong hair product online and wanted to exchange it for the product I REALLY wanted without incurring shipping charges. The shipping charges were rather steep I thought--$12.26 for 8 oz. The product I wanted was actually more expensive. I just wanted to order the new product and swap out the previous product when the UPS delivery person came. After one week and 4 long distance phone calls, I was told the company would not make this small accommodation. So, even if I sent back the product I didn't want--and got NOTHING--it would still cost me $12.26! DO NOT... More...

Miss Jessie's customer service gets an "EXTREME THUMBS DOWN" from me, it s----! Been "Napptural" since April '09 and of course that means still navigating the road of what hair products will be best for my desired look. Miss Jessie's Curly Buttercreme was suggested. Went to the website for locations in my part of the country to purchase the product and after calling these places, discovered none of them carry the small 2 oz. jar, best for my trial, only the 4 oz. and 8 oz. Called Miss Jessie's, at a phone number on her website, to order the 2 oz. Curly Buttercreme, cost $9. Here's the kicker, the service person then quoted $3.95 handling + $9 shipping charges, bringing my once $9 item to $21.95, WOW YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!! Explained to her this was to be a trial and didn't want to be out $21.95 if the product didn't work and requested one or both of the charges be waived. She denied my request and began a lame sales pitch on how good the product is and even had the unmitigated audacity to refer me to other websites who might have "cheaper shipping/handling". Result, Miss Jessie's service person didn't make a sell due to ignorance to some customer service basics. Who turns down a basic courtesy request to waive shipping and/or handling charges, especially in these times when African American hair care businesses are battling with the Asians. Evidently Miss Jessie's doesn't need my new business now nor future. BIG MISTAKE MISS JESSIE'S, HUGE!!! I will never try, use and don't recommend you try or use, any of these hugely popular products and why, because MISS JESSIE'S DOESN'T HAVE A CUSTOMER SERVICE CLUE!!! (You need to get one girl.) Of course if customer service is not your thing then...!!!
